ADVANCED ENVIRONMENTAL INC.
Wastewater Treatment Systems
for a green environment using technologically advanced treatment systems
Advanced Environmental Inc. specializes in the supply of technically advanced and environmentally sound wastewater treatment systems designed primarily for use in ecologically sensitive areas such as water-front properties, or in areas where native soils are thin or provide poor percolation rates.
The founding principals incorporated Advanced Environmental Inc. in 2000, which enabled them to combine their considerable consulting and construction experiences from both the water and wastewater industries. The result is an environmentally conscious company which can ensure that the wastewater treatment systems prescribed will minimize the impact of domestic or commercial wastes to the receiving environment and as importantly, protect valuable nearby drinking water resources.
|Robert A. Davey ACSM, President
A graduate mining engineer (1964) with over 40 years metalliferous mining and geotechnical experience in Canada and overseas, Bob Davey retired from professional engineering in 2006. He currently provides consulting expertise on wastewater treatment and disposal systems through Advanced Environmental Inc. and Davey Consulting and Agrology.
Of particular relevance is Bob's experience engineering the ground sciences for subdivision design, and the design of environmentally sound and innovative methods of effluent waste disposal systems. Analysis of geotechnical assessments and slope studies from photo analysis and ground measurements for proposed mining operations and reclamation of previous mining sites formed a large part of his experience.
|James S. Fyfe, BASc(Eng),
Jim Fyfe has been involved in the groundwater industry for 25 years. He is owner/president of Fyfe Water Services, providing design and construction services for both water supply and wastewater disposal projects.
In 1993, Jim completed an undergraduate degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where his studies focused on Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. He is currently a B.C. Registered Well Driller and Well Pump Installer.
Active in various groundwater industry associations, Jim has served as President of the B.C. Ground Water Association and is the current President of the Canadian Ground Water Association.
In 2001 Jim was selected to the B.C. Drinking Water Review Panel and in 2003, he was appointed as member of the B.C. Ground Water Advisory Board which continues to provide the B.C. Government with recommendations for managing and protecting ground water resources throughout BC.
